This tour is really just a bit of fun in the afternoon and although you will still learn about the region, the history and discover new locations - it is a great way to meet others visiting the area. Even if you are not normally a "wine tour" type person - this is the tour for you because we make it just a bit of fun way to get someone to drive you around the Grampians with drinks included.
First destination is Fallen Giants vineyard (Halls Gap Estate), another great location - sample the wines from the vines grown onsite, that you will see as we drive up to the cellar door. With whites & red wines to try before we move on to our next location.
Your next stop is at Pomonal Estate for wine tasting and each person will have a beer/cider paddle from their locally produced brand, here you will enjoy the cellar door atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff plus beautiful views of the Grampians National park.
Opportunity to purchase light snacks/coffee & other products.
Next stop is Barney's Bar for an Aussie experience of wine or beer (you choose) in an old sheep shearing shed. Or Halls Gap Hotel, this very popular location for locals and visitors, over looks the Grampians, with the local wildlife jumping past as you enjoy a beer or wine on us.
Last stop will be the newest establishment to the block - Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co - with a drink on us - we suggest you try their local brew - even if you are not a "beer" person, when in Rome....... However local wines are also available if you wish to have a wine.
You can stay at the last location and enjoy the atmosphere and have a meal - your reserved table from the tour is yours to stay on for as long as you like once the tour finishes, OR we will take you back to your accommodation around 6 - 6:30pm
Tour time: 3 - 3.5 hours approx.
(Alternative wineries/ pubs may be used, depending on availability)
Tour Cost $80pp
