Learn all about the Grampians, history and the region before making your way to Great Western, to the heart of the wine village. Learning the art of the swirl, sniff and slurp from your expert wine guide while on the bus, before trying out the wines in the cellar door.

Our first stop is Best’s Wines, Great Western. Arriving in their historic cellar door known as ‘The Stables’. It is an amazing experience from the moment you step in the door, enjoy the beautiful red gum tasting room. Wines available for tasting include Best’s current range and some extra special wines as part of the tour. Learn about this 155+ year-old vineyard plus the opportunity to peek into the past, discovering their underground cellar, with a guided tour plus time to explore on your own.

Next location is one of a few vineyards we have here in the Grampians, based on availability we may visit Grampians Estate, ATR Wines, or Fallen Giants vineyards. All offering a selection of hero regional wines plus a few "not as common" varieties to try. These locally produced and made wines are award winning and have great stories behind how they came about. No matter which of the vineyards we visit next, you will enjoy the story behind the wine and the wine tasting - of course.

Your last location will be Pomonal Estate Vineyard and micro brewery. A  light lunch (several options to choose from, please notify us in advance of any dietary requirements) and of course a beer and cider paddle included or if you prefer to stick with wine we can arrange this too.

From here you will be dropped back at your designated location or left at the last location to relax if you are in walking distance to your accommodation this is a perfect way to finish the tour.
