Whats included: Visit 4-5 vineyards, 1 brew house, lunch & beer/wine with lunch, underground cellar tour & cheese platter, all wine tasting fees including premium tastings.
You will be picked up from your accommodation or will meet at a designated location around 10am and begin your tour. Pick up times/prices may vary upon individual request. All pick ups from Halls Gap are included in the price.
Start your tour learning the art of the swirl, sniff and slurp from your expert wine guide while on the bus, to then try it out at range of cellar door tastings. Learn about the Grampians region as you travel to your first destination, hear about the pre and post European arrival plus interesting facts about the Grampians.
First stop is arriving at Montara Wines, Ararat; the cellar door is a beautiful collaboration of the old building materials from around the region with a vineyard now in sections reaching 50 years old. Sample their whites and red wines while learning about the history, or where gold meet vineyards. Plus, experience the incredible views of Mount Langi Ghiran in the distance and enjoy the atmosphere. Grampians Estate is the wine village of Great Western with a large variety of wines to try, inlacing many which have won wine awards and recognition. This is your opportunity to enjoy a sparkling trio of white, rose and red, and learn about how the town is the birth place of sparkling shiraz.
Next: Best’s Wines, Great Western. Arriving in their historic cellar door known as ‘The Stables’. It is an amazing experience from the moment you step in the door, enjoy the beautiful red gum tasting room. Wines available for tasting include Best’s current range and back vinatge wines. Enjoy wandering around the 150-year-old vineyard. Opportunity to peek into the past, discovering their underground cellar, you will be guided underground to see history at a stand still.
Lunch is included at the very popular Paper Scissor Rock Brew Co, located in the heart of Halls Gap. This venue has modern food and able to cater for different dietary requirements. Plus enjoy a glass of local brew or local wine with your lunch.
Next we visit Pomonal Estate - offering a selection of wine, beer & cider for tasting. Enjoy this last stop with friendly locals who are very passionate about the area and the wine.
Your last stop is Fallen Giants in Halls Gap - this small vineyard produces some big wines, with a boutique selection - that has made media attention in recent years for their high scores with James Halliday. Learn about the site and history of the vineyard before we conclude for the day.
From here you will be dropped back at your designated location.

Consumption of alcohol prior to joining the wine tour is greatly discouraged. Any inappropriate behaviour or intoxication will result in the tour being cut short with no refund on monies or may result in no further wine tasting or drinks provided.
