Departing Stawell, Pomonal & Halls Gap
This tour is great for exploring the region, stopping at four of the silo art locations, plus morning tea and a lunch stop as we drive through the towns of the Wimmera.
First stop on this tour is the town of Rupanyup where we will visit Rupanyup Living, Home and Giftware's, a chance to look at the lovely gifts and local produce plus included is tea/coffee and a piece of their famous chocolate chunk brownie for morning tea. (If Rupanyup Living is not able to be open on the day we visit, an alternative morning tea location will be used.)
Next stop is the Sheep Hills Silo. Time to get out of the bus and look around, admire the art up close and learn about the faces painted by International artist Adnate.
Our next stop is Warracknabeal which includes lunch at the Creekside Hotel with lots of great options to choose from plus time to have a look in the very interesting Wheatlands warehouse. (NOTE: If Creekside Hotel is unable to take our booking, we do provide a picnic lunch in the park near the river.)
After lunch we head to Rosebery to see Kaff-eine's work before we head to Brim to view the Silo's, again time to get out of the bus and see these great creations up close, and before leaving make a quick drive through the town of Brim and Redda's Park.
On the return journey we stop at Minyip into Emma's Cafe (or alternative) for a tea, coffee or juice (own expense) before viewing the Silo Art at Rupanyup by Russian artist Julia Volchova.
During your tour hear about the history of the towns and areas you pass through, plus about the silo's.
Included in this tour:
- Bottle of water
- Hot tea/coffee & chocolate brownie
- Lunch from a large selection of meals
(afternoon tea at own expense)
Approx. 8 hours (9am - 5pm)
Minimum 2 - Maximum 11 People for the tour to run.
