How it started:
Grampians Wine Tours was born from the extension of Grampians Helicopters. With Grampians Helicopters beginning in November 2015, it was only a short time before Justine & Justin saw the need to provide wine tours in the Grampians region for larger groups of people wanting to travel at the same time. Plus Justine & Justin understood that taking a helicopter to the vineyards wasn’t for everyone and a comfortable mini bus would cater for a larger audience. Since the strong relationships with locally producing vineyards and other great small businesses had already been established – creating Grampians Wine Tours was really already half completed, all they needed to do was make it available so the fun could start.
What we do:
Every great wine region has wine tours! Our wine region has more than 155 years of history, and yet no wine tour business were showcasing this great region (from the ground) so Grampians Wine Tours provides a link to all the amazing cellar doors and vineyards. But we don’t stop at just vineyards, we offer tours with tastings at local olive farms, lunch locations plus discovering the sights of the largest outdoor gallery along the silo art trail.
We offer over 15 different tours stretching out to Dunkeld, Ararat, Pyrenees, Horsham, Roseberry and all the towns in between. With our base in and around Halls Gap, our pick up and drop off service makes this service accessible for locals and visitors, additionally enhancing to the tourist experience by way of seeing & doing more in our region in a short time.
